Italian Police Arrest Suspect in Connection to Murders Near Naples

Italian police: A man has been arrested on suspicion of murdering two women on separate occasions at an abandoned building site near Naples.

According to Ghana News Agency, the suspect, aged 49, is believed to have killed the women by pushing them from the upper floors of the building after allegedly refusing to pay for sexual services. The bodies discovered were those of a 29-year-old Italian woman and a 49-year-old Ukrainian woman, found in Pollena Trocchia, a town located at the foot of Mount Vesuvius.

Police were initially alerted to the incidents after a couple reported seeing the suspect enter the site with a woman and later leave alone, carrying a handbag. This crucial tip led investigators to trace and arrest the man. Authorities believe the two killings occurred separately over the past few days.
