Accra: Chief Executive Officer of Cooker's Delight, Gifty Brown, has shared insights into how her food business has grown into a profitable enterprise, saying her luxury lifestyle is largely driven by earnings from pastry sales. In a viral interview with blogger ZionFelix, the entrepreneur revealed that her high-end vehicle was financed entirely through revenue generated from her meat pie business. According to Ghana Web, Gifty Brown explained that her business has expanded significantly over the years, moving from small daily sales to a high-volume operation serving both corporate clients and individual customers. 'Let's assume that I used to sell pies of four to five pieces daily. Now I am able to sell about 500 pieces daily, and that is even without any special orders,' she noted. She added that her shop now attracts steady patronage from institutions and individuals, describing strong daily demand for her products. 'Most of the banks and companies around buy from my restaurant every day. My place is alw ays packed. Even on Sundays, when you come, there is a queue,' she said. According to her, meat pies are priced between GHS15 and GHS20, while the business also offers a wider menu beyond pastries, including other food items. However, she emphasized that the purchase of her luxury vehicle was financed solely through earnings from meat pie sales. 'We don't only sell pie. We sell food and other things. But the G-Wagon is solely pie money,' she stressed.
