Accra: Ghanaian musician Kojo Blak has expressed gratitude to God, his family, management team, producers, and supporters after winning two awards at the 2026 Telecel Ghana Music Awards, including the New Artiste of the Year.
According to Ghana Web, in a post shared on X on May 13, 2026, the singer explained that he did not prepare an acceptance speech because he does not take anything for granted until it is officially confirmed. "I didn't prepare an acceptance speech because I don't take anything for granted until it's truly granted. So please accept this as my post-awards-night thanksgiving," he wrote.
Kojo Blak described 2026 as an exceptional year for his career, noting that he had already made three entries on the Billboard U.S. Afrobeats chart and had now added two TGMA wins to his achievements. He began by giving glory to God, whom he described as "the destiny changer," acknowledging that none of his accomplishments would have been possible without divine guidance.
The musician also thanked his parents and siblings for their sacrifices and unwavering support throughout his journey. Kojo Blak further acknowledged his producer, UglyxTough, for producing almost every song he has released so far and helping shape his sound.
The singer additionally expressed appreciation to his manager, Deejay Eppz, for defending and supporting him behind the scenes so he could focus fully on music.
