Ghanaian Afrobeats and Afropop singer, Kelvyn Brown, known popularly as Kelvyn Boy, has reiterated his love for his former boss and senior colleague, Stonebwoy.
According to Kelvyn Boy, he started having dreadlocks because of his mentor and boss, Stonebwoy as he desired to sing and appear like him.
The two have had a very rough relationship after Kelvyn Boy left Burniton Music in 2020 with what was speculated to be a misunderstanding.
But according to the “Down Flat” hitmaker, despite all the odds shown, he still appreciates and adores his former boss.
Speaking to Andy Dosty on his Daybreak Hitz show, aired on the Accra-based Hitz FM monitored by Modernghana News, he said, “I really looked up to Stonebwoy. I still do. I had locks because I wanted to sound and look like him.”
