‘I Dated a 28-Year-Old at Age 14’ – Archbishop Agyinasare Recounts

Accra: Founder of Perez Chapel International, Archbishop Dr. Charles Agyinasare, has opened up about the lifestyle he lived in the early stages of his life before answering his call into ministry. In an interview with Borla Ray monitored by GhanaWeb, Archbishop Agyinasare revealed that he began engaging in intimate relationships at a young age, adding that he once dated a woman who was twice his age.

According to Ghana Web, Archbishop Agyinasare shared his experiences of being involved in activities such as drug use, tobacco, and alcohol consumption during his youth. He recounted the thrill he felt as a young man engaging in such activities, including chasing girls and getting into physical altercations. He also spoke about his parents' divorce when he was seven and the subsequent move of his father to Tamale, which left him in Accra with his sister at the age of 12.

Archbishop Agyinasare also revisited the difficult memory of a pregnancy and abortion that occurred when he was 14 years old with a girl who was about 16. He mentioned that the girl who later introduced him to church was initially someone he was romantically pursuing, along with her older sister. Despite being high on marijuana, he attended a church service with her and experienced an altar call that marked the beginning of a significant transformation in his life.
