Adaklu kodzobi: Hope in Christ, a Christian non-government organization, concluded its three-day crusade by inaugurating a new branch of its widows' association in Adaklu Kodzobi.
According to Ghana News Agency, the event was themed 'Encounter with Jesus' and aimed to spread the message of faith while addressing societal needs. Prophet Joseph Adigbli, a Zonal Coordinator of the organization, led the inauguration ceremony. He emphasized the organization's dual mission of evangelism and supporting widows and destitute individuals across the region.
Prophet Adigbli revealed that Hope in Christ is currently aiding over 3,000 widows in the Greater Accra, Eastern, Ashanti, Volta regions of Ghana, and parts of the Republic of Togo. The organization provides monthly distributions of food and essentials and shares spiritual guidance through the Word of God.
He also called on affluent members of society to extend their resources to those in need, reinforcing the belief that blessings are meant to be shared. He urged widows to adopt healthy lifestyles and deepen their spiritual connections by embracing Jesus Christ.
Apostle Dr. Peter Etse, Director of the Christlike Youth Association, delivered a sermon that highlighted Jesus Christ as the solution to life's challenges. He shared biblical stories of healing and transformation, illustrating how encounters with Jesus led to profound changes in people's lives, even for those with troubled pasts.
The apostle urged Christians to look beyond mere affiliation with church denominations and to fully commit their lives to Jesus for solutions to deep-seated issues, including generational challenges.
The crusade witnessed a significant number of attendees dedicating their lives to Jesus Christ. Additionally, Hope in Christ organized vocational training and health screening services to further support the community.
