According to Ghana Web, Doris carried the dream of motherhood for several decades, despite the societal whispers and personal heartbreak she endured due to childlessness. Her journey to becoming a mother was marked by years of hope and unwavering faith, akin to the biblical story of Sarah, who gave birth to Isaac in her old age. Doris successfully conceived her first child through enhanced in vitro fertilisation (IVF), a moment she describes as the greatest blessing of her life.
On her 62nd birthday on July 7, 2026, just days after the birth of her daughter, Doris shared her inspiring journey. Despite facing numerous obstacles, including the development of fibroids and undergoing surgeries, she never gave up on her dream. She attributes her perseverance to prayer and the support of her spiritual father, Prophet Nana Degraft, who stood by her throughout her journey.
