Ghanaian Father Reunites with Son After German Authorities’ Intervention

Accra: A Ghanaian man has shared an emotional reunion with his son after German authorities placed the child in their care over concerns about his mother's alcohol abuse and his welfare. In a video sighted by GhanaWeb, the man was seen carrying a fully packed suitcase as he approached his son, who was standing by the roadside with an unidentified white woman believed to be an official.

According to Ghana Web, as the father got closer, he dropped his luggage and ran towards his son before embracing him tightly. During the reunion, both father and son expressed how much they missed each other, highlighting the emotional impact of their separation. The father voiced his surprise and discontent with the location where his son had been placed, describing it as a remote village in Germany.

He shared his joy at being reunited with his son and expressed a strong desire to capture the moment with photographs, emphasizing the emotional toll the separation had taken on the family. Despite the hardship, the father remained hopeful for the future, stating, "What these people have done to me has destroyed us. God will be with us. I have brought all your belongings."
