The vehicles are prepared, the crew list finalized with fourteen names, and tomorrow, we embark on a ten-day journey from Accra that promises to be anything but ordinary.
According to Ghana Web, this expedition is not about taking the usual route to the North of Ghana. While most travelers opt for the direct road, our path will take us eastward through the Volta Region, showcasing the less-trodden but breathtaking landscapes. The journey will then continue to Tamale, Wa, and finally Bolgatanga, traversing mountains, water bodies, and winding roads that beg for exploration and appreciation.
This journey is more than a travelogue; it is a content expedition with fourteen creators, camera operators, and storytellers aiming to unveil the hidden beauty of Ghana. The success of previous projects, like the documentation of Crocodile Island, which garnered three million views, underscores the power of showcasing these lesser-known locales.
The road to this moment has been fraught with challenges. The concept faced numerous rejections, unanswered emails, and budget constraints. Yet, perseverance paid off, with support from CFAO Mobility Ghana and sponsorships from Pepsodent, Malta Guinness, Munchee Ginger Biscuits, and Nero Prime. Their belief transformed this vision from a personal dream into a shared reality.
