The Ghana male senior national team is set to face Nigeria in the playoff of the qualifiers to the 2022 FIFA World Cup qualifiers.
Nicknamed the Black Stars, the national team of the West African country last year finished top of Group C after beating South Africa in Cape Coast in the final game.
Courtesy of that win, Ghana earned the right to play in the playoffs of the African qualifiers to the 2022 FIFA World Cup tournament scheduled to be hosted on Qatar.
Today in Douala, Cameroon, the official draw for the playoff round for the qualifiers has been held.
At the end of it all, the 10 national teams that qualified from the group stage have been drawn against each other to fight for qualification via a two-legged encounter.
Ghana at the end of the draw, is set to face off with rivals Nigeria. The first encounter will be played in Ghana before the Black Stars travel to Lagos to take on the Super Eagles.
