Accra: The Ghana Cycling Federation (GCF), in collaboration with the Africa Cycling Network (ACN), recently visited Twellium Industrial Company at its Medie-Kotoku factory. The visit marked part of the activities associated with the Tour du Ghana. According to Ghana News Agency, the delegation was led by Mr. Shaaban Mohammed, Secretary General of the Ghana Cycling Federation and Managing Director of the Africa Cycling Network. It included Mr. Rudolf Mensah, Equipment Director of the Federation, and Ms. Elizabeth Gyamfi, Media Personnel of the Federation. Cyclists Emmanuel Sesi from the Royal Cycling Club in the Volta Region and Farrakhan Shaaban Mohammed from River Park Cycling Club in the Eastern Region, who played crucial roles during the Tour du Ghana 2025, were also part of the delegation. The visit aimed to formally present a citation to Twellium Industrial Company-Ghana, acknowledging its role as the sole hydration sponsor of the Tour du Ghana. Twellium Industrial Company provided Verna Water to over 200 participants during the ten-day event. Additionally, a race jersey was presented to the company in recognition of its sponsorship of the Youngest Overall Verna Jersey and the Best Overall Breakaway Twellium Jersey for the November 2025 Tour du Ghana Black Star Experience. During the visit, the delegation took a guided tour of the factory, gaining first-hand insight into the production processes of Twellium products. The tour provided exposure to industrial production standards, quality assurance measures, and safety procedures. The delegation received a warm welcome from Ms. Belinda Selase Kamasah of Twellium Industrial Company, along with Mr. Samuel Adjetey Annang, Safety Officer, and Ms. Leenatu Uthman Usuf, Quality Control Officer. They guided the team through the factory and offered detailed explanations of the production processes. GCF and ACN expressed their gratitude to Twellium Industrial Company-Ghana for the warm reception and valuable engagement.
