Accra: An Amasaman High Court in Accra has reduced the 15-year jail term of convicted Ghanaian preacher, Evangelist Patricia Asiedua, known as Nana Agradaa, to 12 months.
According to Ghana Web, the court deemed Nana Agradaa's initial 15-year sentence as harsh and excessive, prompting the reduction. The revised sentence, effective from her conviction date of July 3, 2025, leaves her with only five months remaining in custody.

She was convicted by an Accra Circuit Court on July 3, 2025, for charlatanic advertising and defrauding by false pretences. Agradaa and her legal team filed an appeal, first appearing before the Amasaman High Court on December 4, 2025. In her appeal documents, she contended that her trial was unfair, the evidence did not support the ruling, and the 15-year sentence was excessive.
