Washington: The United States Department of Homeland Security (DHS) has added 12 Ghanaians to its "Worst of the Worst" criminal aliens database. This brings the total number of Ghanaians on the list to 44, highlighting individuals who face deportation for what the DHS describes as the "worst of the worst" criminal activities.
According to Ghana Web, the DHS explained that the database was created to fulfill the promise of US President Donald Trump to deport illegal aliens, focusing first on those who have committed the most severe crimes. The earlier list published by the Department included the details of Ghanaian socialite and musician Mona Montrage, popularly known as Haji4Real, who has already been deported to Ghana for committing fraud. She was arrested in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
The list shared by the DHS includes photos, names, and associated crimes of the individuals affected. Notably, members of Hajia4Reall's 'sakawa' empire, known as 'The Enterprise,' were also highlighted, detailing their arrests and criminal activities.
