Accra: Former Member of Parliament for Aburi North, Betty Krosby Mensah, recently suggested that Deputy Minority Leader Patricia Appiagyei might be better suited for the National Democratic Congress (NDC) rather than her current party.
According to Ghana Web, Krosby Mensah made this playful remark during an exclusive interview on July 26, 2026, when she was asked to identify female politicians she admires, including those from opposing parties. She expressed admiration for many women in Ghana's political arena, finding it challenging to single out just one.
Krosby Mensah highlighted her respect for several female leaders, notably mentioning the Vice President of the Republic, Professor Jane Naana Opoku-Agyemang, as a significant source of inspiration. She expressed her admiration for Patricia Appiagyei with a humorous suggestion that Appiagyei should consider joining the NDC.
This comment comes as Krosby Mensah gears up to run for the position of National Women's Organiser within the NDC, a role that underscores her commitment to empowering women within the party.
