Accra: Evangelist Patricia Asiedua, better known as Agradaa, has opened up about the evolution of her preaching abilities, recounting how her capacity to integrate Bible verses into her sermons has significantly improved since her early ministry days.
According to Ghana Web, Agradaa expressed during an appearance on Onua Show Time that social media often emphasizes the lighter, humorous moments of her church services, overshadowing the core teachings and messages she delivers. She highlighted that while she can preach for an hour, online platforms tend to focus only on the segments where she incorporates humor to engage her congregation.
Agradaa noted the perception that her preaching style has evolved, attributing this change to her decision to reduce humor and focus more on delivering substantial teachings. She emphasized that her church services now prioritize imparting positive messages, stating that attendees will leave with valuable insights regardless of their initial expectations.
In addition to her comments on her preaching style, Agradaa shared her spiritual journey, revealing that she spent eight months seeking divine guidance. She recounted a pivotal moment when she prayed to God, expressing her willingness to let go of her material wealth in exchange for spiritual fulfillment, a plea she believes was answered.
Reflecting on her former preaching methods, Agradaa admitted that while she was capable of delivering sermons, she struggled to substantiate her messages with specific Bible references. She expressed gratitude for the newfound ability to support her teachings with scripture, attributing this change to divine intervention.
