Accra: The Eezzy Group Foundation has made a significant contribution to the Adenta Motor Transport and Traffic Department (MTTD) by donating a Mitsubishi L200 pick-up valued at GHS 600,000. The handover occurred during a brief ceremony and aims to support the MTTD's daily patrol operations as part of the foundation's corporate social responsibility efforts. According to Ghana News Agency, Assistant Commissioner of Police (ACP) Susana Adjei, the Divisional Police Commander, expressed surprise at the donation. She recalled a recent gathering where the Adenta Police Command had appealed for support and thanked the foundation for responding to their needs. ACP Adjei assured that the vehicle would be put to good use and conveyed the Inspector General of Police's gratitude for the donation. Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCOP) Alex Kwadjo Wowolo, the Regional MTTD Police Commander, also extended his thanks to the Eezzy Group Foundation. He noted that the foundation has consistently supported the police by donati ng vehicles and motorbikes. Assistant Superintendent of Police (ASP) Dina Ankoh Mensah, the Adenta MTTD Police Commander, shared her surprise and appreciation for the foundation's gesture. The ceremony was attended by officers and personnel from both the Adenta MTTD and the Divisional Command, highlighting the importance of this donation to the local police force.
