Dr Bawumia Urges Unity Among New Greater Accra NPP Executives for 2028 Victory

Accra: Former Vice President and Presidential Candidate of the NPP, Dr Mahamudu Bawumia, has charged the newly elected Greater Accra Regional executives of the NPP to prioritize unity, saying it is "the key ingredient for victory" in the 2028 general elections.

According to Ghana Web, Dr Bawumia emphasized the importance of focusing beyond internal competition to prepare for the bigger challenge ahead during a courtesy call made by the executives following Saturday's NPP regional elections. He encouraged the party to leverage the talents of all its members, regardless of the recent electoral outcomes.

"The election is over, you've had competitors, let us come together. The real election is 2028 let's put everybody's talents to use. We must use everybody's talents," Dr Bawumia stated to the new Greater Accra Regional executives, led by Chairman Dr Bernard Okoe Boye.

Dr Bawumia also committed to collaborating with all factions within the party, including both the winners and losers of the recent election. "I'm open to work with everybody. Everybody," he assured, indicating his dedication to inclusivity and collective effort.

The newly elected Greater Accra executives include Joana Adda Frances as 1st Vice, Prince Obeng as Organiser, Moses Abor as Youth Organiser, Grace Acheampong as Women Organiser, and Jeff Kasim as Nasara Organiser. The Greater Accra region remains a crucial area for the NPP, and Dr Bawumia's meeting marks strategic steps to solidify the party's presence in the region.
