Dagbomba Boy Files to Contest Northern Regional NPP Chairmanship

Accra: Alhaji Amadu Inusah, popularly known as Dagbomba Boy, has officially filed his nomination papers to contest the Northern Regional Chairmanship position of the New Patriotic Party (NPP). Speaking to journalists after submitting his forms, the businessman stated his commitment to ensuring the NPP wins more parliamentary seats and garners more presidential votes in the 2028 elections.

According to Ghana Web, the former Yendi Constituency Chairman and popular Hajj agent is making his third attempt at the regional chairmanship, having previously lost twice to the incumbent Chairman, Adam Samba. Despite his past defeats, Dagbomba Boy expressed optimism about his chances this time, emphasizing his readiness to lead the NPP to victory in 2028.

Dagbomba Boy declared, "I have lost twice, but I am here again to seek the mandate of delegates to lead the party in the region. I am not seeking just to lead, but to improve the fortunes of the party. I am not going to be an overlord Chairman, but a servant ready to listen, ready to serve, and work hard towards victory in 2028."

He further described himself as "a unifier, a consoler, a servant," and highlighted these attributes as central to his campaign. Alongside Dagbomba Boy, three other individuals have declared their intention to contest the Northern Regional Chairmanship. They include the incumbent Chairman, Adam Samba, who is seeking re-election; Alhaji Fuseini Musah alias Fuzzy; and Alhaji Salifu Mumin COP alias Jack Sparrow.
