Abura dunkwa: Mr. Ebenezer Osei-Bonsu, a local preacher at the Wesley Methodist Church in Abura Dunkwa, Abura-Asebu-Kwamankese District, has urged Christians to lead exemplary lives that reflect the teachings of Jesus Christ.
According to Ghana News Agency, Mr. Osei-Bonsu delivered his message during a Resurrection Sunday service under the theme 'The Word Teaches New Life in Christ,' drawing on scriptures from Isaiah 25:6-9, Colossians 3:1-4, and John 20:1-18 to support his call for Christian transformation.
Addressing congregants, many of whom were dressed in white to symbolize Christ's victory over death, Mr. Osei-Bonsu emphasized that Christians are the light of the world and must shine amid darkness to spiritually edify the church and morally uplift society.
He highlighted that through good behavior-manifested in speech, actions, humility, respect, and love for all-unbelievers would be inspired to follow the Christian way of life.
Furthermore, Mr. Osei-Bonsu advised congregants to reject ungodly acts in marriages, workplaces, churches, and society at large. He stressed that corruption, theft, lies, fornication, and other sins must be avoided to foster a better society.
