Accra: Viral videos of Ghanaian broadcast journalist Blessed Godsbrain Smart, widely known as Captain Smart, have emerged showing him making references to former President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo during an event attended by President John Dramani Mahama.
According to Ghana Web, Captain Smart, serving as the master of ceremonies, introduced President Mahama for his speech, commending him as a leader who listens to the people and refrains from discrimination. Captain Smart highlighted that President Mahama does not require chiefs to stand before greeting them, referencing an incident from Akufo-Addo's administration.
"The president who listens, the president who does not discriminate, the president who does not ask chiefs to stand up before he greets them... help me welcome John Dramani Mahama," Captain Smart stated. Upon his introduction, President Mahama smiled and waved to the audience before taking his seat.
