Istanbul: Turkish sports commentator Sansal Byka has warned Galatasaray about their reliance on striker Victor Osimhen. Byka cautioned the Turkish Super Lig champions that focusing solely on Osimhen for goals could cause serious problems for the team.
According to Ghana Web, speaking on the Sports Digitale YouTube channel, Byka said via Habersarikirmizi: "In the last one or two matches, Galatasaray seem to have somewhat overcome their dependence on Osimhen. This is an extremely important development for Galatasaray. There is a rapid shift from one man to a team, and this will greatly benefit Galatasaray."
Byka further emphasized that the team's past reliance on Osimhen has led to significant issues. His comments follow Osimhen's recent performance, where he helped Galatasaray secure a victory against Rizespor in a Turkish Super Lig fixture over the weekend.
Osimhen has been a key player for Galatasaray this season, scoring 15 goals in 21 appearances across all competitions.
