Boakye Agyarko Concludes Campaign Tour in Bono East Region

Accra: Mr Boakye Kyeremanten Agyarko, a hopeful for the New Patriotic Party (NPP) national chairmanship, has wrapped up his campaign tour across five constituencies in the Bono East Region. The tour allowed Mr Agyarko to engage with NPP delegates in Atebubu/Amantin, Pru East, Pru West, Sene East, and Sene West constituencies, as he sought to garner support for his campaign.

According to Ghana News Agency, Mr Agyarko's campaign emphasized the importance of party unity and improving the welfare of its members and supporters in preparation for the 2028 elections. He urged reconciliation within the party, encouraging members to forgive and focus on a common goal to regain power in the upcoming general election. He stated, "Our party's path back to power begins with healing divisions, rebuilding trust, and bringing every member on board."

During his address to party delegates in Atebubu, Mr Agyarko highlighted the need for the party's supreme interest to prevail over individual interests. He stressed the significance of enhancing members' welfare, particularly recognizing the contributions of grassroots executives. He promised to implement practical welfare initiatives that reward commitment and service.

Mr Agyarko expressed gratitude to constituency executives and party members for their warm reception and constructive interactions. He reiterated his commitment to maintaining discipline and working towards the election of former Vice President Alhaji Dr Mahamudu Bawumia as Ghana's next President.
