Accra: An aspiring National Chairman of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Boakye Agyarko, has called on party members to fully support the party's flagbearer, Dr Mahamudu Bawumia, in the quest to regain power in the 2028 presidential election. He emphasized the importance of unity among party members, encouraging them to forgive past grievances to achieve a decisive electoral win.
According to Ghana Web, Agyarko made this appeal during his interactions with constituency executives across Asante Akyem North, South, and Central Constituencies as part of his campaign tour in the Ashanti Region. The tour's objective is to engage with party members, presenting a vision for a more cohesive and efficiently organized NPP ready to secure victory in 2028 under Dr Bawumia's leadership.
During further meetings with executives from various constituencies, including Bekwai and Manso Nkwanta, Agyarko reiterated his commitment to enhancing the welfare of party members if elected as National Chairman. He pledged to collaborate closely with Dr Bawumia to implement welfare policies effectively across the party's grassroots.
Agyarko also expressed his intention to mobilize resources to enhance the efficiency and productivity of the party's offices at all levels. He conveyed his gratitude to the constituency executives and party members for their warm reception and support for his vision.
In the company of his Campaign Manager, Henry Quartey, Agyarko highlighted his longstanding dedication to the party, having contributed significantly to its organization, campaign strategies, and policy development. His extensive experience in both national governance and international banking positions him as a capable leader for the party.
