Apamkrom: Bishop Dr Stephen Owusu Agyemang, Founder and Leader of the Covenant Prayer Camp at Apamkrom in the Techiman Municipality of the Bono East Region, has urged Ghanaians to follow God's direction and guidance to attain prosperity.
According to Ghana News Agency, Bishop Dr Agyemang emphasized that consistent obedience to God's direction would ensure that His purpose and promises were established and fulfilled in the lives of believers for earthly comfort and spiritual growth. He shared this message during the official launch of the prayer camp at Apamkrom on the theme: 'Covenant for Multiplication and Divine Increase.'
The launch marked the beginning of a series of activities highlighting God's grace at the camp, with many attendees sharing testimonies of God's goodness. Bishop Dr Agyemang advised Christians to remain faithful and obedient to God, emphasizing that adherence to divine direction was essential for excellence and success.
Bishop Dr Agyemang recounted that the prayer camp, established in 2019 with only a few members, had grown into a thriving Christian community. He noted, "It is a vision I received from God to prepare this special place for prayers, and I have resided here permanently since the vision became a reality." The camp was inspired by a divine call to serve as a beacon of hope and salvation for people from all walks of life.
As the camp marked this milestone, Bishop Dr Agyemang acknowledged the grace of God in their journey. He explained that the camp was designated for serious covenant prayers, prohibiting the use of mobile phones and noise-making to maintain a serene environment.
The camp is equipped with social amenities, including schools, health facilities, and access to clean water, enabling worshippers to stay and pray for God's guidance and direction in their lives. Prophet Isaac Kudjoe, a special guest, commended Bishop Dr Agyemang for establishing the prayer camp, noting its role in providing a conducive environment for Christians to build and strengthen their intimacy with God.
