Bawumia to Become President in 2028 Despite Opposition, Says Amin Adam

Kpukpalga: Former Finance Minister and Member of Parliament for Karaga, Dr Mohammed Amin Adam, has confidently asserted that Dr Mahamudu Bawumia, former Vice President, will ascend to the presidency of Ghana in 2028, regardless of resistance from the ruling National Democratic Congress (NDC).

According to Ghana Web, Dr Amin Adam made this declaration during an address to the residents of Kpukpalga, following the commissioning of a new Community-based Health Planning and Services (CHPS) compound that he funded for the community. He criticized the NDC government, accusing it of not adequately addressing the needs of Ghanaians, particularly those in rural farming areas like Kpukpalga.

He argued that initiatives proposed by the NDC, such as constructing a 24-hour market or implementing a dollar exchange rate arrangement, are ineffective for communities primarily composed of farmers. Instead, Dr Amin Adam advocated for strategies that would directly enhance the livelihoods of farmers, emphasizing the necessity for reliable and rewarding prices for farm produce and the reduction of farming input costs to boost agricultural profitability and sustainability.
