Accra: Joana Coffie, the former spouse of Ghanaian businessman Richard Nii Armah Quaye, has filed a court application alleging that socialite Hajia4Reall, also known as Mona Faiz Montrage, exerts a negative influence on her children whenever they are in their father's custody.
According to Ghana Web, Joana claims that her ex-husband, referred to in the documents as RNAQ, is often absent when he has custody of the children. As a result, he leaves them under the care and supervision of Hajia4Reall, whom Joana accuses of encouraging inappropriate behavior. Joana further alleges that her children have been influenced by Hajia4Reall to engage in inappropriate activities on social media.
The court documents reveal that Joana witnessed a social media video of her daughter twerking for a man at one of their houses in Trassaco, which she attributes to Hajia4Reall's influence. She expressed deep concern for the moral welfare and safety of her children, stating that they are exposed to online predators and sexual exploitation due to their unsupervised activities.
Joana provided evidence in the form of videos, marked as Exhibits JQ5 and JQ6, to support her claims. These include footage of her children engaging in objectionable content and a video of her daughter twerking for a boy in their residence. Joana reported the incident to RNAQ, who admitted the behavior was inappropriate.
In light of these allegations, Joana is seeking changes to the custody arrangement that would limit the father's access to the children and restrict Hajia4Reall's involvement in their lives. Online, some individuals have questioned Hajia4Reall's influence, citing her status as an ex-convict as a reason to deny her access to the children.
