Speaking with American presenter Angela Yee, the African international artist explained that though the relationship was supposed to be casual, she found herself developing genuine feelings for this person.
According to Ghana Web, Ayra Starr revealed that the inspiration for her song 'Where do we go' stemmed from a very secret relationship she had. The relationship was such that nobody knew what was happening except for the two involved. Despite her friends advising her to end it, she was reluctant due to her feelings for the person.
The award-winning artiste added that despite the feelings she developed, she knew the relationship itself wasn't healthy. She described it as a "sneaky link" and a "situationship," recognizing that it wasn't going anywhere. This led her to question the direction of the relationship, pondering the mutual feelings involved.
Ayra Starr also disclosed that every word in the song is true and real, and intriguingly mentioned that the person in question is also famous.
