Appiah Stadium Opens Up About Marriage and Social Media Controversy

Accra: Political activist Appiah Stadium has candidly discussed his marriage, his deep admiration for his wife, and a recent controversy involving a woman linked to him on social media. Speaking in a video shared online on July 4, 2026, Appiah Stadium emphasized his unwavering respect for his wife, suggesting that all men should emulate his approach to honoring their spouses.

According to Ghana Web, Appiah Stadium addressed misconceptions that he fears his wife, clarifying that his actions are rooted in respect. He shared, "I wish I could watch some of the matches that are ongoing with the crowd, but I will get into trouble with my wife if I stay outside till late. I'm not scared of her, but I just respect her."

Appiah Stadium elaborated on how his wife serves as a significant pillar of support in his life, explaining that she fulfills the roles of both a mother and father for him. "I don't have a mother. She is my mother and father. If I want to write something, she is the one who writes for me. If I leave her and go for someone who is as dumb as I am, how will my life look?" he remarked.

Addressing the social media controversy, Appiah Stadium expressed concern for the woman allegedly linked to him, suggesting that the incident has had adverse effects on her. He questioned the perceived loss of opportunity for the woman, while reflecting on what he had gained from the situation himself. "Some people said the lady has missed her chance, but what chance do I have? Aside from the links and the big men I have in my life, men will now be scared to get close to her because of what happened between us," he explained.

Despite the incident, Appiah Stadium revealed that he has forgiven the woman and hopes for divine forgiveness on her behalf. "I have forgiven her, but I pray God also forgives her," he noted.

In response to assertions that social media users defended him due to his popularity, Appiah Stadium maintained that their support was based on truth rather than personal allegiance. "I have a lot of people following me. The other time when I checked, I realized I have about 7.9 million followers. I was thinking some people on social media who take the credit are all liars. They were not defending me; they were defending the truth. Because of the politics, I have a lot of enemies," he added.
