Akatsi North Advances Police Headquarters Project

Ave dakpa: Mr Bless Kodjo Katamani, the District Chief Executive of Akatsi North, has announced progress on the construction of an ultramodern District Police Headquarters at Ave Dakpa. This initiative is part of larger efforts to bolster security and promote development throughout the district.

According to Ghana News Agency, the project is funded by the District Assemblies Common Fund and aims to provide suitable office accommodation for the Ghana Police Service. This development is expected to uplift personnel morale and improve the effectiveness of policing, contributing to peace and security in the region.

Mr. Katamani, in an engagement with the Ghana News Agency, emphasized that the project aligns with the Assembly's broader development agenda. This agenda includes enhancements in education, road infrastructure, and water systems, all aimed at boosting socio-economic activities in the district.

Although the construction began in 2016, it is anticipated to reach completion this year. Mr. Katamani highlighted that the new facility would significantly enhance police visibility and operational efficiency in the area.

He further elaborated that the ongoing projects in the district demonstrate the government's dedication to strengthening security and social infrastructure, thereby supporting growth and improving living standards for residents. Mr. Katamani expressed optimism that the completion of the police headquarters would complement other efforts to make Akatsi North a safer and more development-oriented district.
