Ajumako: The Entumbil Circuit of the Church of Pentecost in Ajumako marked the conclusion of its week-long Easter convention with an energetic service on Sunday to commemorate the resurrection of Jesus Christ.
According to Ghana News Agency, the service was characterized by testimonies, prophecies, worship, prayers, praises, and dance, as worshippers from five assemblies gathered to celebrate their faith. The event was themed 'Experiencing the resurrection power of Jesus.'
Pastor Kwesi Frimpong, the presiding pastor, encouraged the congregation to anchor their faith in Christ and strive to overcome challenges, drawing parallels to Christ's victory over death. He referenced scriptures from Exodus 33:18 and 19 and Colossians 3:1 to 10, urging Christians to prioritize God and suppress worldly desires.
Pastor Frimpong emphasized that the resurrection power should be evident in personal lives, marriages, families, and workplaces. He urged the congregation to turn to God first in times of difficulty and to continually seek His presence and Kingdom.
The service featured numerous testimonies from members who expressed gratitude for divine intervention in their lives.
