Addressing Transport Challenges: First Batch of 100 29-Seater Buses Arrives

Accra: Mr. Felix Kwakye Ofosu, the Presidential Spokesman and Minister of State in charge of Government Communications, has announced the arrival of the first batch of 100 29-seater buses into the country. The arrival forms part of Government's efforts to address prevailing transport challenges nationwide.

According to Ghana News Agency, the initiative is aimed at easing recent road transport challenges. These 100 buses are part of a total of 300 that have been procured for this purpose. Mr. Kwakye Ofosu stated that this is the first step in a phased delivery plan.

He further noted that a second batch of 100 buses is expected to arrive in August, while the final batch of 100 buses will be delivered in November this year. This structured delivery is intended to systematically improve the nation's transport infrastructure over the coming months.
