Sunyani: The 'Sammy Gyamfi Youth Alliance', a burgeoning youth movement in the Bono Region, has spoken out against what it characterizes as unfounded and politically motivated critiques concerning the financial status of the Ghana Gold Board Authority. The alliance expressed its concerns over the alleged orchestrated efforts to depict the Authority as failing.
According to Ghana News Agency, a joint statement from the alliance, signed by Mr. Eric Asante Boadi, Patron, Mr. Ernest Kumi Twene, President, and Grace Asantewaa Opoku, General Secretary, was released in Sunyani. The statement emphasized the alliance's mission to promote the holistic development of the Bono Region and support vulnerable groups, including orphans and the elderly.
The statement underscored the inaccuracies in the recent assertions about the Authority's performance, suggesting that these claims are attempts to undermine the leadership of Mr. Sammy Gyamfi, the CEO of GoldBod.
