Lagos: Former Big Brother Naija reality show star, Natacha Akide, popularly known as Tacha, has been taken into custody by police authorities. Reports indicate that the arrest occurred at her Lagos residence on Sunday, August 30, 2026, following her failure to respond to multiple police invitations.
According to Ghana Web, media entrepreneur Seun Oloketuyi shared on Instagram that Tacha ignored three police invitations issued between May and August, 2026. Oloketuyi stated, "Tacha has been arrested today by NPF. Arrested early this morning after she was sent three invitations btw May and August by NPF-NCCC but she decided not to honor the IVs."
The specific reason for Tacha's arrest has not been disclosed, and the police have yet to make an official statement regarding the widespread reports.
