Accra: Two boreholes have been inaugurated at the Dakpema Palace area and Nalung Fong in the Tamale Metropolis to ensure improved access to potable water for residents.
According to Ghana News Agency, these boreholes were constructed by Faith Group of Companies, an indigenous company involved in cold stores and real estate, as part of its corporate social responsibility initiative. This effort aims to address the challenge of water shortages experienced in these communities.
The company has also inaugurated its newly constructed corporate office located at the Dakpema area in Tamale. Additionally, Faith Hostel, a 102-room commercial facility near the University for Development Studies, has been inaugurated to accommodate students.
Elder David Owusu Yentumi, Chief Executive Officer of Faith Group of Companies, highlighted that these projects and the new corporate office represent a significant step in the company's growth and service to its customers and communities. He emphasized the company's vision to provide quality products and services, while contributing to community development and employment opportunities.
Elder Yentumi noted that as the company expands, it remains committed to its responsibilities toward the communities it serves. He stressed that success should be measured not only by financial growth but also by the positive impact made through employment, customer satisfaction, community development, and responsible business practices.
He also mentioned that the new corporate office would enhance coordination, management, and engagement with customers, partners, and stakeholders. Elder Yentumi expressed his gratitude to the company's staff, traditional leaders, religious leaders, public institutions, and other stakeholders for their support and goodwill.
Alhaji Adam Abubakari Takoro, Tamale Metropolitan Chief Executive, represented at the event, commended the company for its resilience and expansion. He praised the company for its contributions to job creation and community development in the metropolis.
Dakpema-Naa Fuseini Bawa, a local chief, expressed appreciation to the company for its interventions and contributions to the area.
