Accra: Rev. Professor Clement Owusu Sarpong, the Founder of the Vision Unlimited Foundation, has embarked on distributing Bibles and other gospel literature to schools, churches, and individuals across the 16 regions of Ghana to promote the word of God.
According to Ghana News Agency, the items were donated by Mission Cry, USA, an international non-government organization co-headed by Rev Woolford Jason and his wife Maria, with the aim of ensuring that every person in Ghana owns a Bible. Rev Owusu Sarpong expressed that the Foundation had already distributed the Bibles and Biblical literature in six regions, including Ashanti, parts of the Bono and Northern Regions, and the Savannah Regions.
Rev Owusu Sarpong shared that witnessing the joy of congregations and school children receiving the items was a gratifying experience. He expressed his belief that the recipients would make good use of the materials to uplift their spirits and transform their lives.
He described the initiative as a collaboration between Mission Cry, USA, and Vision Unlimited Foundation to spread the gospel by distributing Bibles and other literature to enhance people's knowledge about God. Rev. Prof Owusu Sarpong noted that this project began over ten years ago in Accra, where they distributed Bibles to some churches, and now the support is being extended to all 16 regions for wider benefit.
