Ashanti region: Member of Parliament for Effiduase, Dr Ayew Afriye, has urged members of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) in the Ashanti Region to set their personal interests aside and rally behind the party ahead of the 2028 elections. He believes that with a united and solid front, the NPP can convince Ghanaians that it is ready to regain power and govern the country in the right direction.
According to Ghana Web, Dr Ayew Afriye emphasized the critical role of the Ashanti Region as the "engine" of the NPP. He called upon party faithful across all levels to recognize the importance of unity for achieving victory in the upcoming 2028 elections. He stressed that the collective good of the NPP must take precedence over individual interests during this crucial time.
Dr Ayew Afriye further highlighted the need for active contributions from all party members, including those who were victorious and those who did not prevail in recent contests. He underscored the importance of talent and dedication in securing victory for Dr Mahamudu Bawumia and the NPP in the 2028 presidential election.
