President Mahama Dispatches Delegation to Visit Ailing Prophet Badu Kobi

Accra: President John Dramani Mahama has dispatched a delegation to check on the well-being of Prophet Emmanuel Badu Kobi. This follows reports that the founder and General Overseer of Glorious Wave Church International had collapsed and is currently admitted to a private health facility.

According to Ghana Web, the delegation is led by Elvis Afriyie-Ankrah, the Presidential Envoy for Interfaith and Ecumenical Relations. The President entrusted Afriyie-Ankrah with the task of visiting the religious leader to ascertain his condition. Accompanying him are Prophet Akwasi Agyemang Prempeh, National Coordinator for the National Day of Prayer and Thanksgiving, and Madam Gloria Dzifa Ashinyo, Technical Adviser to Government Communications.

The visit comes amidst public concern over Prophet Badu Kobi's health after reports and video footage circulated on social media showing him receiving treatment at the hospital. Reports suggest that the prophet was rushed to the facility after collapsing, although specific details about his medical condition have not been officially disclosed.

The delegation conveyed President Mahama's concern and good wishes to Prophet Badu Kobi, expressing hope for his speedy recovery. The prophet, a prominent figure in Ghana's Christian community, has maintained relationships with both political and religious leaders across the nation.
