Takoradi: The Western Regional branch of the Tertiary Education Institution Network (TEIN) of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) has convened its second quadrennial youth conference in Takoradi, Western Region. The event, themed "Building on the Past; Empowering the Future," served as a platform to honor dedicated cadres and patrons whose contributions have bolstered the party's achievements.
According to Ghana News Agency, the conference also provided an opportunity for attendees to reflect on the party's journey, sacrifices, and triumphs in advancing Ghana's development. The gathering attracted significant figures, including Ministers, Members of Parliament, Metropolitan, Municipal and District Chief Executives (MMDCEs), Chief Executive Officers, students, directors, patrons, and NDC cadres.

He called on the party leadership to empower the youth with opportunities such as scholarships, job placements, and apprenticeship programs.
Mr. Osman Abdulai Ayariga, the Deputy National Youth Organiser of the NDC, encouraged the youth to continue promoting President John Dramani Mahama's achievements since he took office last year. He assured that the government recognizes the youth's sacrifices and will provide employment.
