Accra: Ukrainian President, Volodymyr Zelensky, has ordered special operations against Russia's arms industry during a meeting with his country's military and political leadership. The operations are intended to target 'specific companies that we have already identified,' Zelensky said on Facebook on Thursday. All those present at the meeting were given clear tasks. 'I expect them to be carried out in full,' he said.
According to Ghana News Agency, Zelensky emphasized the need for Russia's military industry to be 'significantly curtailed.' He expressed concerns that Moscow continues to receive support and key components for its war efforts from abroad. Zelensky pointed out that every Russian missile, drone, and other weapons contain critical components from other countries, without which such weapons could not exist.
Ukraine has recently inflicted damage on Russia's oil industry and arms factories. In pursuit of this, Kyiv is utilizing long-range drones capable of penetrating deep into Russian territory, reaching even as far as Siberia.
