Accra: The Third National Vice Chairman of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Alhaji Osman Masawudu, popularly known as Chairman Buga Buga, has responded to viral allegations that he snatched the wife of popular Ghanaian musician Fancy Gadam. According to him, the woman, who is now his second wife, was divorced before he married her. He explained that she had been in a relationship with the musician and that they had been separated before he met her.
According to Ghana Web, Chairman Buga Buga stated in a social media interview that Fancy Gadam had publicly announced the end of his relationship with the woman before he became involved with her. He emphasized that there was no issue between him and the musician, and he dismissed accusations of being a wife snatcher as unfounded.
Chairman Buga Buga clarified further that he had only met the woman about two months ago and went through the appropriate traditional and legal processes to marry her. He stated, "As a man of my status, I would not just date a woman casually. After knowing her for about two months, I married her, and she is now my second wife." He reiterated that the woman and Fancy Gadam had already separated before his involvement.
