‘He Threatened to Beat Me’ – Peter Okoye Leaks Video of Heated Clash with Brother over US Property

Lagos: Nigerian musician Peter Okoye, popularly known as 'Mr P' of the defunct P-Square music group, has levelled fresh allegations against his elder brother and former manager, Jude Okoye. Peter has accused his elder brother of once threatening to assault him during a disagreement over a property belonging to their former music group in the United States.

According to Ghana Web, the incident occurred in 2015 after the brothers had reached an agreement to divide their properties, including a duplex located in the US. Peter claimed the disagreement started after he discovered that his part of the American property had allegedly been listed for sale without his knowledge or approval.

Peter Okoye alleged that when he confronted Jude about the matter at a music event, the encounter became heated and resulted in a confrontation. 'He told me to get out of his front before he slapped me. He wanted to beat me up before other artistes stepped in,' Peter Okoye alleged.

The singer also rejected claims that Jude played a major financial role in building P-Square, stating that their elder brother, Henry, was the person who supported the group financially during its early stages. Mr P further alleged that he later came across documents that were prepared to transfer his ownership stake in the US property to Jude's wife, Ifeoma Omokeke.

According to him, he declined to sign the documents after realising that they were intended to change the ownership arrangement. He also claimed that Jude maintained he had majority control over the group's assets and had the power to remove him from the business.
