BamBam Reveals Why ‘No Man of God’ Became a Defining Project in Her Acting Career

Accra: Nigerian actress BamBam has described her role in the upcoming film ‘No Man of God’ as one of the most defining moments of her acting career, saying the project allowed her to showcase her full talent as a performer.

According to Ghana Web, BamBam spoke to Patience Adu after the ‘No Man of God musical’ held at the National Theatre. She revealed that the production combined two of her greatest passions, music and acting. Although many fans know her primarily as an actress, BamBam said music was her first love before she ventured into acting.

BamBam humorously compared balancing both careers to managing two relationships, expressing that her initial love for music had to be put on hold due to its costs, allowing her to delve into acting. Now, she finds herself reuniting with her musical roots through this project.

Reflecting on her performance in the stage musical, BamBam described the experience as a blessing. She expressed her joy in being able to sing live on stage, which she found particularly special. The actress disclosed that one of the reasons she embraced the project was because the film’s writer and director created her character with her specifically in mind, a gesture that deeply touched her.

According to BamBam, ‘No Man of God’ also marked an important milestone as her first Pan-African film project outside Nigeria. She explained that the role challenged her in ways previous productions had not, requiring her to portray an emotionally complex character.

While she has portrayed emotionally demanding characters before, BamBam admitted this role required a different level of depth. The actress is among the cast of ‘No Man of God,’ which is scheduled for release in November 2026 after the successful staging of its musical adaptation at the National Theatre in Accra.
