Accra: Ghanaian rapper Okyeame Kwame has warmed hearts on social media after paying a surprise visit to content creator and influencer Asantewaa, who is reportedly unwell and battling family issues. In a video shared on July 19, 2026, the veteran musician was seen shopping for fruits at a market before heading to Asantewaa's residence to check up on her.
According to Ghana Web, representatives of a sanitary pad brand that works with Asantewaa expressed concern about her health and asked him to deliver the thoughtful package on their behalf. "I've heard that Asantewaa is not feeling well, and it's been a worry to me. Pretty Lady Sanitary Pads work with her, and they love how she works. Since I'm in Accra, they asked me to buy some fruits and visit her at home to cheer her up. Come with me, let's go and surprise her," he said in the video.
The rapper later arrived at Asantewaa's home, where he presented the fruits, spent some time with her, and asked what was really going on with her. He then offered her words of encouragement. The gesture has since earned praise from many social media users, with several netizens commending Okyeame Kwame for taking time out of his schedule to support the influencer during her recovery.
