‘I Will Hurt You If You Take Bribe From SM’ – Stonebwoy Warns Team


Accra: Ghanaian dancehall artiste Stonebwoy has become the centre of discussion online following his recent remarks. The ‘Jejereje’ hitmaker, in a video that went viral online on July 5, 2026, was seen subtly warning members of his team not to accept money from Shatta Wale.



According to Ghana Web, Stonebwoy stated that he would ‘wound’ any member of his team if he sees them taking money from Shatta Wale to sabotage his stage performance. In the video, Stonebwoy can be heard saying, ‘Can’t you see my team behind me? If you go and collect a bribe from SM and turn off my microphone, I will wound him. He can’t do that.’



Stonebwoy further reiterated that it would not be possible for him to share the same stage with his rival, Shatta Wale. He emphasized, ‘It won’t work. He’s not good enough. We are playing in the World Cup, and he didn’t qualify.’
