Accra: Ghana International Bank Plc (GHIB) has entered into a Confirming Bank Agreement with the African Development Bank Group (AfDB) under the Transaction Guarantee Instrument, marking a significant development in the bank's strategy to bolster African trade, investment, and economic growth.
According to Ghana News Agency, the deal is set to enhance GHIB's ability to support importers, exporters, and financial institutions involved in cross-border commerce within Africa and globally. A statement from Mr. Kofi Safo Akyea, Marketing and Communications Manager at GHIB, emphasized the bank's commitment to offering trade finance solutions that enable businesses to access international markets, fortify supply chains, and contribute to sustainable economic growth.
