Accra: Media personality, Michy has sent a message to Ghanaians who are seeking opportunities abroad, insisting that the country holds more than enough potential for anyone willing to work for it. She made the remarks at the Accra International Airport during the arrival of Ghanaians evacuated from South Africa following a wave of xenophobic attacks on June 7, 2026.
According to Ghana Web, Michy emphasized that one can succeed in Ghana if he or she puts their mind to it. “I believe there’s a lot of money to be made in this country. Don’t go to someone’s country and say there’s no money in your country. Make use of your talents and skills. Find something you like and do it,” she stated.
Michy dismissed the speculation that there are not enough opportunities in the country, arguing that attitude and determination matter more than location. “It’s all about your mindset. Whatever you do, put your mind to it and know where you want it to get to. If you are persistent, you will get there,” she said.
