Sunyani: Hajia Samira Sulley, an aspirant for the Bono Regional Women Organiser position of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), has expressed her gratitude to mothers and women for their indispensable role in building and strengthening family and societal bonds.
According to Ghana News Agency, in a statement made to mark the Mother's Day celebration, Hajia Sulley recognized mothers as the foundational teachers and the cohesive force within homes and communities. She emphasized the silent but significant contributions of women such as market women in Sunyani, farmers in Wenchi, and teachers in Dormaa, acknowledging their sacrifices and pivotal role in nurturing the nation's future.
Hajia Sulley also extended her appreciation to mothers within the NPP, highlighting their role in raising the next generation of leaders. She noted that the strength of the party and the region is deeply rooted in the foundational work done by women in their homes. As a hopeful serving Regional Women's Organizer, she emphasized the importance of empowering mothers to empower Ghana.
