Lagos: Veteran Nollywood actor, Patrick Doyle, has announced the heartbreaking loss of his newborn daughter, Omayinuwa Harriet. In a post shared on his Facebook page, Doyle revealed that the baby passed away on Saturday at about 4:15 p.m., just a day after her birth.
According to Ghana Web, Doyle expressed the profound but brief joy that Omayinuwa’s arrival brought to their lives. The actor shared that she was born on Friday, April 10th, at approximately 10:40 a.m. and passed away the following day. Despite the brief stay, Doyle emphasized the joy she brought, acknowledging the divine will in her passing.
Doyle’s post reflected his strong faith, as he mentioned, “God still rules in the affairs of men,” and maintained a resolute belief in the goodness of God. He expressed acceptance of the situation, saying, “It is well with our soul.” The DAILY POST reported that Omayinuwa was Doyle’s daughter with his third wife, Funmilayo. Doyle had initially shared the news of her birth on Friday, noting both mother and
child were in good health at that time.
