Accra: Reggae artiste Ras Kuuku has called on society to change its perception of young people from disadvantaged communities, emphasizing that the stigma and neglect they face are detrimental. He advocated for deliberate investment in these young individuals through mentorship, education, skills training, and access to creative platforms. By providing the right support system, he believes their lives can be transformed.
Ras Kuuku further stated that empowering these young people appropriately will deter them from engaging in negative activities. He urged society to reconsider its approach and invest in the future of ghetto youth, suggesting that with proper guidance, they can make significant contributions.
