Stonebwoy Receives Generous Land Cruiser Gift from Unexpected Benefactor

Accra: Ghanaian reggae and dancehall musician Stonebwoy has given further details of how a Lebanese businessman he had never met before gifted him a brand new Land Cruiser V8 within 72 hours of their first encounter.

According to Ghana Web, the surprising event unfolded when Stonebwoy encountered businessman and philanthropist Mohammed Raii at the Kwahu Business Summit. Stonebwoy recounted the remarkable story in an interview with Kafui Dey, explaining that he felt an urge to step out of his hotel room where he was staying with his wife. During his impromptu outing, he met Raii and engaged in a conversation that would lead to an unexpected act of generosity.

Stonebwoy described how he mentioned to one of his godfathers present that he had sold some of his cars to fund the Ho Concert. Raii, who happened to overhear the conversation, quietly made a phone call, and within two days, a brand new V8 was delivered to Stonebwoy's door. "I have never met him before in my life. Under 72 hours," Stonebwoy said, visibly moved by the gesture.

For Stonebwoy, the episode was a powerful lesson in faith. He reflected that it reinforced his belief that God works through unexpected channels. "My faith in God is like, he holds the hearts of men. So better I put my faith in Him instead of humans, because he will use humans anyway. And more often than not, he would not use those you know, he would use the strangers," he expressed.

Stonebwoy expressed his gratitude to Raii, stating that "nobody had ever bought me a car before, not to talk of a brand new 2025 model." The unexpected gift has left a lasting impression on the musician, highlighting the surprising ways in which goodwill can manifest.
